Proper care and regular cleaning help preserve the appearance and writing performance of your Montblanc writing instrument.

General Care
Protect your writing instrument from impacts, excessive heat, moisture, and prolonged direct sunlight. Clean exterior surfaces gently with a soft, lint-free damp cloth. Avoid chemical or abrasive cleaners.

Fountain Pen Cleaning
Clean your fountain pen approximately every three months, especially when changing ink colour, after a long period without use, or if ink flow becomes irregular. Pens used with permanent ink should be cleaned more frequently; Montblanc recommends every 2–3 weeks depending on use.

Use only clean, cold water without additives. After cleaning, gently wipe the nib and inside of the cap with a damp, lint-free cloth.
