Montblanc creations require specialized care when service or repair is needed. Whenever possible, submit the complete creation so it can be assessed correctly.

Visit a Boutique or Authorized Retailer
Bring your creation to Montblanc Boutique Montréal or another Montblanc boutique or authorized retailer. The team will guide you through the service process and arrange shipment to a Montblanc Service Centre when required.

Ship to the Canadian Service Centre
For eligible writing instruments, watches and jewellery, direct shipment may be available when visiting a boutique is not convenient. Leather goods should be submitted through a boutique or authorized retailer, so repair feasibility can be assessed.

Prepare Your Shipment

• Pack the complete creation securely. Do not send the original presentation box unless it is needed for service.
• Include your name, return address, telephone number, email address, and a description of the issue or service requested.
• For warranty service, include the completed International Guarantee Certificate or proof of purchase from an authorized point of sale.
• Use insured, trackable, and discreet packaging.

If the service is not covered by warranty, an estimate will be provided for approval before work begins. Replaced parts become the property of Montblanc.

Warranty & Service
The Montblanc International Guarantee covers defects in manufacturing and materials for two years from the date of purchase, subject to its terms and exclusions. It does not cover normal wear and tear, lost parts, or damage caused by accidents, impacts, misuse, or other causes unrelated to a manufacturing or material defect.

Montblanc’s service guarantee is valid for one year from the date the service is completed and covers the replaced parts and/or service performed.

Nib Exchange
If your Montblanc fountain-pen nib does not suit your writing style, a complimentary nib exchange is available for up to six weeks after purchase. For Limited Editions, it is available for up to one year after purchase.

The complimentary service applies when the nib is in mint condition and valid warranty documentation or proof of purchase is provided. Calligraphy nibs are excluded. Available nib widths depend on the writing instrument and model.
